Apply for Home Energy Rebates

After purchasing a qualifying product, you may apply for your rebate online, by mail, or by email. See the details below to submit your rebate request through your preferred method.

Please allow four to six weeks for processing. Efficiency Smart will contact you once your request has been processed.

    • Rebate offers are valid while funds are available and may be subject to change without prior notice.
    • Rebates are only available to individual homeowners and renters. Developers and landlords interested in receiving project incentives should apply through the Large Business Solutions program.
    • All rebate requests must be postmarked or emailed within three months of the purchase date and no later than January 7 of the following year.
    • Items must be installed at an address served by a participating electric utility.
    • All products must be new. Used or refurbished products are not eligible for a rebate.
    • Rebates will only cover up to the purchase price of the item.
    • Product must be on the qualifying product list or meet noted specifications.
    • Air Purifier: 5 per year
    • Clothes Washer: 1 per year
    • Dehumidifier: 5 per year
    • Electric Clothes Dryer: 1 per year
    • Heat Pump Water Heater: 1 per year
    • Pool Pump: 1 per year
    • Refrigerator: 2 per year
    • Smart Thermostat: 2 per year
    • Air Source Heat Pump: 2 per year
    • Cold Climate Air Source Heat Pump: 2 per year
    • Central Air Conditioners 2 per year
    • Window Air Conditioner: 4 per year
