Customers of participating utilities can borrow an electricity usage monitor for free to find out how much electricity your household products use. You can measure the energy usage of any small appliance or home electronics, from televisions to refrigerators. You'll learn the cost to run these items and their energy use in daily, monthly, or annual increments. Best of all, it's easy to use.
Our customer support team is available to help you compare your results with energy-efficient models. When it comes time to upgrade, you'll have a good idea of what to buy.
Please note: the monitor is not suitable for space heaters or HVAC equipment. To see the estimated energy use for these items, please use our Energy Usage Calculator.
Fill out the form below, and a customer support specialist will contact you within three business days. We’ll ship the electricity usage monitor to you for free and include a pre-paid return label. Once received, you can borrow the monitor for up to four weeks. Your shipment will also include our Electricity Usage Monitor Instructions and our Electrical Usage Chart to help you compare how much energy your household devices use to an average appliance or electronic device.
