You Come to Us

Bring a working dehumidifier, window air conditioner, or mini fridge to our drop-off event on Saturday, September 26, and get $100 per unit responsibly recycled.
Note: Please bring a recent copy of your electric bill to participate in the program and receive an incentive. Everyone who pre-registers will also be entered into a drawing to win an energy efficiency kit (see sign-up details below).
Drop Off Event Details
Saturday, September 26, 9:30 a.m. - noon, at the parking lot outside the Bowling Green Public Works Garage. Please use the entrance on N. College Dr. for the Bowling Green Public Works Garage at 1040 N College Dr, Bowling Green, OH 43402. Signs will be set up directing customers to the correct parking lot.
We Come to You

Schedule a free pick-up for your working refrigerator, freezer, dehumidifier, or window air conditioner between July 1 and September 30, and get $75 per unit responsibly recycled.

Visit our sign up page and indicate in the notes field if you prefer to bring your appliance(s) to the drop-off event on September 26 or to have it picked up.

Must be a Bowling Green Municipal Utilities electric customer to be eligible. Limit of four units recycled per household, per year.

All refrigerators and freezers must be empty and free of food residue. Units that are moldy, infested with bugs, or not empty will not be picked up.
