Free Online Home Energy Assessments Available for Newark Electric Customers
February 4, 2020
Efficiency Smart has launched a free Online Home Energy Assessment to help City of Newark Electric Department residential customers identify where they can save energy in their homes.
City of Newark electric customers can choose from answering basic questions in “Lite” mode or completing a thorough assessment using the “Advanced” mode. Both options provide real-time recommendations for each completed question and a free customized report detailing energy saving opportunities and potential dollar savings.
Customers can visit www.efficiencysmart.org/newark-delaware and select “Online Home Energy Assessment” to take the free assessment.
“You don’t have to be an expert to find ways to use less energy and lower your electric bill,” said Jamie Abrusci, Program Manager for Efficiency Smart. “The Online Home Energy Assessment helps residents identify which improvements make sense for their homes and provides information about financial incentives available from Efficiency Smart that can help with those improvements.”
Visit www.efficiencysmart.org/newark-delaware for more information on additional services available for City of Newark Electric Department customers. Efficiency Smart and its services are available to Newark customers through a partnership with the Delaware Municipal Electric Corporation (DEMEC).
