Instant Savings on LEDs at Ace Hardware and John’s Sweeper Service

Efficiency Smart, the City of Dover’s partner in providing energy efficiency services for its electric customers, is providing a convenient and affordable way to purchase LED lightbulbs while supporting local stores.  

For a limited time, Dover Light and Power customers can purchase Greenlite LED lightbulbs for $0.99 each at Ace Hardware, located at 3000 N. Wooster St., and John’s Sweeper Service, located at 233 W. 3rd St. in Dover.

Both standard and dimmable specialty LED lightbulbs are available at a discount during the promotion. Bulb types include:

  • Standard LED lightbulbs
  • Dimmable LED candelabra lightbulbs
  • Dimmable LED medium globe lightbulbs
  • Dimmable LED interior flood lightbulbs

 All of the specially-priced LEDs meet strict quality performance and efficiency standards and are ENERGY STAR® certified.

 Replacing incandescent light bulbs with LED equivalents is a simple way to save money on utility bills. LED bulbs last up to 25 times longer than incandescent bulbs and can save consumers $90 or more over their lifetime.

There is a limit of 8 bulbs per customer, and the offer is only valid while supplies last.
