City of St. Marys Municipal Electric System customers who use the services of either the West Ohio Community Action Partnership (WOCAP) or the Agape Ministries Food Bank can now receive four free LED lightbulbs, thanks to partnerships between Efficiency Smart and the community organizations.

WOCAP administers the federal Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) for St. Marys residents. City of St. Marys Municipal Electric System customers who meet the federal HEAP income guidelines are eligible for the free LEDs. Those interested can call 419-227-0158 for more information.

Agape Ministries, Inc. is a non-profit charitable organization that has operated for 40 years in the community. City of St. Marys Municipal Electric System customers who use the food bank through Agape Ministries are eligible for the free LEDs. Those interested can call 419-394-8700 for more information.

Replacing incandescent lights with LEDs can help save on electric bills, as LEDs last up to 10 times longer than incandescent lightbulbs and can save you $90 or more in electric costs over their lifetime.
