Newton Falls Electric Department customers who use the services of either the Trumbull County Community Action Program or the Church Mouse Food Pantry can now receive four free LED lightbulbs, thanks to partnerships between Efficiency Smart and the two community organizations.

Trumbull County Community Action Program administers the federal Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) for Newton Falls residents. Newton Falls Electric Department customers who meet the federal HEAP income guidelines are eligible for the free LEDs. Those interested can call the Trumbull County Community Action Program at 330-393-2507 for more information.

The Church Mouse Food Pantry provides food and clothing for those in need in the community. Newton Falls electric customers who use the services of the food pantry are eligible for the free LEDs. Those interested can call 330-872-5574 for more information.

Replacing incandescent lights with LEDs can help save on electric bills, as LEDs last up to 10 times longer than incandescent lightbulbs and can save you $90 or more in electric costs over their lifetime.
