Brewster Municipal Electric customers who use the services of either the Stark County Community Action Agency or the Believers Assembly Church Food Pantry can receive four free LED lightbulbs, thanks to partnerships between Efficiency Smart and the two community organizations.

Stark County Community Action Agency administers the federal Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) for Brewster residents. Brewster electric customers who meet the federal HEAP income guidelines are eligible for the free LEDs. Those interested can call Stark County Community Action Agency at 330-454-1676 for more information.

The Believers Assembly Church Food Pantry collects and redistributes food to low income families in the Beach City/Wilmot Ohio area. Brewster electric customers who use services provided by the food pantry are eligible to receive the free LEDs. Those interested can call the Believers Assembly Church Food Pantry at 330-455-6667.

Replacing incandescent lights with LEDs can help save on electric bills, as LEDs last up to 10 times longer than incandescent lightbulbs and can save you $90 or more in electric costs over their lifetime.
